ineb.dll error message

By Casemaker ·
Hi,
I am working on a computer that had the W32.sofunny virus. I followed symantec removal instructions and removed the files from registry and win.ini. I am getting this message when I click on my computer, the control panel windows explorer or when I do a search for the file using the search feature. Can you tell me what's up and how to stop it.
Thanks

Did you back up your registry prior to making changes?
OR

1. Click Start, and click Run.
2. Type the following, and then click OK.

edit c:\windows\win.ini

The MS-DOS Editor opens.

NOTE: If Windows is installed in a different location, make the appropriate path substitution.

3. In the [windows] section of the file, look for a line similar to the following:

run=c:\windows\microsoft420.exe

4. If it exists, select the entire line (be sure that you do not select any other lines), and then press Delete.
5. Click File, and click Save.
6. Click File, and click Exit.

Thank You!
This file was deleted by Norton along with nasty.exe.
I removed it from the registry as well.
