To take advantage of cheaper hardware and processors. What would be the era of diminishing returns for internet cafe type machines. That is, could a simple P4 and 1gyg 2700 ram take care of surfing (no games) and downloading files. Would an even more ancient processor/memory/mbd combo do the job? Thinking export of an internet cafe set-up…20 or so machines and related net hardware for a personal business in the third world.
