I cannot boot up my desktop PC – keep getting this message. It then continues: “Setup cannot continue. Press any key…” It is not getting past “inspecting the hardware configuration” – although I could do Ctrl-S to enter Configuration menu – don’t know what to do when I get there, though.
It is XP, SP2. I was interrupted while installing a new HP Photosmart C7280 printer, and then closed down for the weekend.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could start, please? I am not a techie, but am reasonably competent…..
