Info on "secinf.net"

By mred69 ·
Received a tip that Network Security Library (http://secinf.net/) is a "good" web resource. However, I noted that that page was linking to http://security.tsu.ru/, a Russian web site. Does anyone have any info on this web site and/or the people behind it.

Info on "secinf.net"

Dear mred69,
as far as I know, the security.tsu.ru is the master site (mostly in Russian), and secinf.net is its English-language mirror.
The master site is marked to be mastered by Eugene Ilchenko, sysadmin at Tomsk State University. His resume is, e.g., at http://security.tsu.ru/me/resume.htm.
I have no personal contacts with the man and can judge only by the site itself.
Eugene seems to be a good specialist in his area as it's often with Russian ITians (please don't consider it as just national solidarity). IMHO the site is rather informative and has a good coolection of links, but abuses cookies and agressive banners a little.
Regards,
Alexander from Moscow, Russia
