When I select shutdown or restart in Win XP Pro I get what I think is a Dll initialization error but I am not sure since the error window only stays open for a second or 2 and then windows shuts down or restarts depending on what I selected. I tried freezing the screen using the pause/break key but that does not work. I looked in the event log and Dr. Watson but I don’t see anything there either. Win XP seems to work fine and shuts down and restarts properly but I get the error. This is a new system with Win XP Pro SP2 installed from the manufacturer. I installed all the current updates for the OS and Office 2003 standard. The following additional programs are installed on the PC : MS Office 2003 standard, Adobe Acrobat 6.0 full retail version, Individual Software’s Anytime organizer 9.3, Winzip8.1 Evaluation, AdawareSE 1.06 and Authentium Command anti-virus Ver. 4.93.
Is there any way to take a snapshot of the error window using an XP command so that I can actually see what the error window is or is there some place I can look in windows to see what this error window is?
