InoculateIT Missing Infected Files

First off, I'll attempt to suppress my loathing for all thing CA puts out :)

When you say "missing files" I'm assuming that it isn't finding an infected file that your workstation copy does.

1) Update your virus signatures on the server, I think they are up to 12.03 now.

2) If you are using it in conjunction with ARCServeIT then it will only scan files that ARcServe backs up. Check your arcserve log and see if the files that are not being checked have been backed up.

3) If the above prove of no use, try checking file permisions on the files that it misses. I find that when a server has been updated, then updated, then updated again it tends to mess up the NDS security something fierce.

ok you lost me somewhere in that question,
we got InoculateIT Running one about 70 or
so servers, I have not come accross that problem yet on any of the servers we got out in our network. But there is a new Service back with updated nlm's out onCai website now for InoculateIT. That might help ya.
