I have an old gateway 2000 pentiam processor. amibios 1992. I canot get it to boot onto windows, I have changed the battery, changed the settings around, with cd drive first, hard disk second, and flopy third, even tried to do just all hard disk, but no joy. I tried to put a windows 95 boot cd in, but would not recognise it. Just keeps saying insert bootable media into appropriate drive. I downloaded a boot version from active boot disk, that had both dos and windows on it. The DOS, was picked up ok, by my disk drive, but said windows failed, when tried that one. i do not know what else to do, can anybody help?
