If you want the file name to work as a hyperlink where the user can click and opn the related file, you need to highlight the cell, click on insert, hyperlink, file, and give the path to the file.

      Good luck!

If you want to include the path as well you can use the formula
      =cell(“filename”)

      Try the following:
      1. click Insert, hyperlink
      2. click browse, find the file to link
      3. choose cell and sheet
      4. click OK
your link will be in the cell the cell reference pointer was in when you started.

If you just want the file name as a heading then use page setup, header footer tab and choose the file name option.

If you have filenames in there that are going to point to different spreadsheets, you can assign hyperlinks to them, for emample, if you have one called testdata.

Click on that cell, hit ALT + K , then on top, there is a browse button, find the file that is associated with the link or name your on, then when done click OK, the text should now be blue and a hyperlink, click on it to test. Repeat steps a many times as necessary.

      Hope this helps.
