Insert row in Excel

I have column A which is a series of dates and I want to know if there is a formula that will insert a row when the date changes. EX:
10/1/2007
10/1/2007
10/2/2007
It would insert a row between 10/1/2007 and 10/2/2007.
Also if it could insert the word “Monday” I would be thrilled. (10/1/2007 is a Monday)
