Install MS Windows XP in several PCs

Hi there,

i would like to install MS XP into several machines.

how can i do this ?

install xp one time and then seal the machine ... and ... then ??

You could do network install to a pc but you cannot install on multiple pcs at a particular second. or you could go ahead and try ghosting.

Try setting up a RIS Server. This will allow you deploy XP Machines quickly over the network to multiple machines as long as the machine allows for PXE boot (Network Booting).

What we do is create a base install of Windows. So it has only the basic drivers.
Then we sysprep the machine and take a Ghost Image.
Then we can use Ghost multicast to push the image to any number of computers we want. In that image we have scripts (VB mostly) that detect the hardware version and install the correct drivers and name the computer, join to domain and all that stuff.
