Had to start a new thread as I had “reached my maximum message level”
Thanks Thumbs if you are reading this. As usual when I am trying something, the problem lay “between the seat and the keyboard”. I finally worked out that I had to install SR1. Once I had done this SP3 loaded perfectly, so I can report that O2K and Vista do speak to each other.
