Install of Access 2000 on Win2k

I’m looking for a response from someone who has done this, and succeeded. 🙂

The install will be relatively easy — Windows 2000 with Office 2000.

A department wants to develop a DB in Access 2000 and share it to a few people. This is fairly easy with Access 97 on NT4.0. They feel it’ll be fairly easy or easier with the Windows 2000/Win2k.

They aren’t planning on turning the pages in .asp so I don’t think IIS is needed, or the Web Publishing, like it could be used on Win2k.

But what is needed on this Win2k box, besides the service packs, of course.

Do we have to have the SQL Server as the DB, or can Access handle everything within that program?

Tell me how you did it — how you’re doing it now — and any problems you ran into that you can tell me about so I don’t!! 🙂
Thanks!!
