By choy.waigiat ·
I want to install Seiko Precision BP9000 printer in Windows Server 2003 so that everyone in office can have access to it. How do I install it? How do I configure the IP address for this printer?
This printer is currently installed in WIN NT 3.1
We are upgrading the server to server 2003.

thanks and regards,

There are no drivers available on Seiko's site for w3k. There are drivers for w2k and you could try those. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

Here's a link to the driver downloads:

I'm not familiar with this printer but if it's capable of receiving connecting to the network with an ip address then the dispaly console would provide the entry for the ip in the setup screen. At least, that's how it's worked for all of the network printers I've set up.

Cheers.
