Install Win2K-Printdriver on Windows NT-

by adi.spahn . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

We’ve following problem:

We have about 60 HP DeskJet 985Cxi-Printers connected to our both printservers based on Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a). All printers are connected through AXIS-Printservers.

Until today, all of the clients are running on Windows NT 40. So far no problems.

Now, there are more and more IBM-Thinkpads running on Windows 2000, which are implemented in the NT-Domain.

Do you know, how we can install Windows 2000 printdriver to our Windows NTPrintserver???

It’s possible to install this printer locally on the clients, but not over the network. Do you know why???
