Install Win2K Pro as Std PC, non ACPI

By dennistm_ ·
I have a Video Editing card which requires that the Win2000 Professional be installed as a Standard PC, not a ACPI PC. But during install, i do not get any option to do this. I am only able to change it once the Install is complete. This means that W2k has already done all IRQ/Mem Addr assigments which i now cannot change. Bios does not allow disabling of ACPI fn. MBD is Intel 850MV. Any solution?

replace the video card, install windows, shut down the machine and change the video card.

I'm not talking about a AGP display card. This is a Video Editing card for Non-Linear Editing systems - Reality/Velocity. Its cost equals about 2 years of my salary, i cant just up and replace it.
