    install win98 after i was install win xp

    i have already dual boot system win98 and winxp
    and i whant to install win98 again but not to lose the winxp and the dual boot

      if Win98 and WinXP are installed on separate partitions, then you can re-install win98 without any problem. However, if they’re on the same partition, you are out of luck. Partition your HDD then reinstall everything.

      What i know is that you cannot install win 98 after win xp because win98 modifies the boot record. You can but try restoring your windows 98 files by using system file checker.
