Installation of 2 Graphic Cards

by kds510 . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

Is it possible to have an AGP and PCI coexist on the same motherboard? I have an Gigabyte 71XE4 mobo;AMD K7-Tbird 900mhz CPU;ASUS 32mb AGP V7700 GeForce2GTS Graphic card running on Windows 98. I want to add an PCI Vodoo3 2000 (16mb) and use it on my desktop and use the AGP for gaming. I know the BIOS (AMI) has a option to boot to AGP or PCI but as for the rest of the installation I am unsure of eg. conflicts, etc.
Let me know of what you’re thinking, it might sound good in theory but could be impossible to do…
