I am working at home via RDC and VPN connected to my office remote hosts (WinXP, WS2003). I need to print on my home network printer (HP LJ 1022n), that is not connected directly to my home PC. The problem is that the printer’s IP address belongs to another subnet (e.g. 192.168.123.9) than the host PC (e.g. 192.168.1.8) the drivers are to be installed on – so the standart HP installation software just can’t recognise this network printer. Is there any solution?
