Installation of linux...

hi,
i am using WIN98 with my 30gb Hard disk & kept 10gb harddisk for installtion .. But now i found one problem as i went for installation & in manual disk druid i gave req. space for installation .. but after finishing installation it was not giving option of
Windows or Linux, though i have choose this options by Lilo boot ..
if i want to delete this linux partition from man didk druid it deleted but how to save these settings ? ..

what version of linux is it? and can u get to the windows side????if you can access the windows part do so and also get partition magic 6 or above from somewhere and install it! once thats done you can get rid of the linux partitions and also createlinux partitions that way u can create them whenever u needed and also not loose the settings also to get rid of the linux out of your master boot disck i recommend putting a windows bootdisk in amd at dos prompt type: format /mbr (it might be \ cant remember) and then once evrythings set up agin use the installation for linux again and choost to boot linux through the master boot record and look out in this area cause some linux vedrsions require user to input which partions to show
