Currently there are 4 computers on a network. The network cards and network are part of a private network for a car manufacturer (Acura), and we are not allowed to change any settings. Internet explorer is used to browse this private network. I wantto add another NIC card to each computer and connect these computers to the internet through a high speed cable modem and use a linksys cable/dsl router. Can a computer have 2 network cards installed and have access to the internet on one and access to the private network on the other? What is needed to be done? How will the computer know when to use each one if internet explorer is going to be used for both? Please let me know. Thanks.
