Hi, I know that there are posts about old printers that are not compatible with Windows XP. But I tried the tips, and I still cannot install my HP deskjet 610 printer to my HP laptop. I bot a Dynex USB-parallel converter for it. Am I going to have to buy a new one?
The problem is that I go through the installation process (and followed the instructions for this printer on HP’s website) and after I think I am done installing, the same “detected new hardware” window pops up. Am I doing something wrong? Is my windows messed up?
