Say I have downloaded Webmin on flash, how does the system know that its on flash, or does this command (sudo dpkg -i webmin_1.320_all.deb) automatically assume the file is on CDrom???

If you are working from within the GUI, browse to the directory your .deb is located, right click any empty space in the folder and select 'Action' > 'Open terminal here.' , type sudo dpkg -i webmin_1.320_all.deb , 'Enter' As long as your dependencies are OK, you should be good to go... This is assuming you are running Debian, Ubuntu, or one of its derivatives, as .deb files are made specifically for these distributions. Hope this helps, Mike
