To install software on Win NT stations and have the program available for all users you must login to that computer as the administrator. Then install the program.

That will put the program on the ALL USERS menu in NT.

For Win 98 normally you just have to install the program.

Installing Applications

Hi !

If you Logon as Administrator or User, it doesn't matter. If you are having the permission as User from the Administrator then also you can Install the Applications.
On NT try to Navigate the Application that you installed in your Profiles Directory.

It will be in general C:\winnt\Profiles.
Then you just see where exactly that Software is installed.

It is basically done when the Software installation setup is made that Under Profiles in which Category , the application should beinstalled.
