Installing Exchange 03 on its own dedicated server

By stephen.doyle ·
Hi Guys,
I'm setting up a new network. I have setup a DC running Win03 STD. I installed Exch03 on it and then decided to put Exch on it's own server which is also running Win03 STD. I have removed Exch from the DC but I don't know how to set exchange up on a separate server that is not the DC.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good step-by-step guide for this.

Thanks,

Stephen.

As the title implies, exchange is really not recommended on a DC.

I'd recommend you check out technet. Take a look here maybe:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123872.aspx

Its really not very hard to install and configure Exchange 2003. Although I've only dont it twice I had no problems with the installs.

Cheers,

Shane

Thanks Shane,
Let me fill you in.
I've installed Exchange on it's own server but i'm not getting any exchange options in Active Directory on the DC.

I must have done something wrong, but i can't see what.

UPDATE:
Problem solved.
I was looking at Active Directory via the DC instead of the Exchange Server Active Directory shortcut.
My Bad!
