      If you are using an AGP video card try using a cheap old PCI ATI or S3 video card.

      You should have only Dos 6.x or higher(not Win9x)installed and CDrom drivers configured correctly in cofig.sys and autoexec.bat. Not from a Boot disk.

      Check your Config.sys & Autoexec.bat to ensure that no memory drivers are running. I.E. himem.sys, ramdrive, emm386 etc…

      Also put the following lines in config.sys:

      Buffers=40
      Files=30

      Hope this helps

      The Licence diskette has a OS on it… Boot from that and fdisk-format your dos partition with the Licence disk….Besides the settings above you will need CD software to configure the dos drivers for the CD Rom..Also the MSCDEX.exe from a win95 disk will work with the old version of DOS….Good Luck….Chuck

      Do you format your C Drive with Win 95?
      If yes, you should re-format it using MS-DOS ver 5 or later.
      If not, try to change your CD ROM driver with general driver like OAKCD.sys.

      Good Luck
