Installing Office 2000 on Win NT 4.0 TSE

By Debbie at New Directions ·
I am trying to install Office 2000 on Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server. Using the Office 2000 Resource Kit, I followed the instructions regarding the Installation Wizard and the TERMSRVR.MST file. I keep getting an error message saying that it cannot install the program. I'm really unsure of the termsrvr.mst file because it appears that I am setting up an installation package to install Office across the network, I just want to install it on the Terminal Server.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Debbie,
First, make sure you are installing from the console-not a session. Second, double-check your syntax--Should look something like this (if is your CD) "D:\setup.exe TRANSFORMS='path to your .mst file'"

Are you installing through "Add/Remove Programs"? Anything listed in your event viewer?
