Installing on a Iomega Jaz SCSI (2GB)

by josep . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

I have an Iomega Jaz SCSI drive (2GB)
I have installed Windows 2000 on a disk (the Jaz unit It’s the boot drive, and named C:)
It’s OK! Windows 2K works correctly.
But when I try to install some applications like “Plus!” or “Office XP”, at theend It says: “Please insert the disk…” and the installation can’t finish because It can find the disk.
Any idea?
I have a suggestion: perhaps It’s because C: It’s a removable unit? If It’s that, Can I confuse the system for It thinks that the Jaz It’s a fixed unit?

Anyone has tried that with Windows 2000 or WIndows XP? (The same problem in WIN XP)

Thanks a lot
