Installing programs in Win2K

I have couple of machines with Win2K, SP 1 and SP2. When ever I try to install any program on them, the installation dialog boxes are visible only half way. I cannot cheange the size of the dialog window. As a result, I cannot read all of the message. I have to gusess on the tab keys to make the installation go forward.

I have looked arround and cannot find any thing about such problems on MS site or anywhere else. Has anyone elso run into this problem, and is what solution they applied.
