I have a NT4 server with SP5.
Due to a crash recently we had to do a full recovery.
When I added RAS and did a restart I was unable to get the server to find the domain.
Even if I logged on locally and re-applied SP5, it didn’t work.
After a bit of investigation it seems that the installation of RAS is preventing the Workstation service from starting and therefore preventing the server from logging onto the network.
If I try and start the Workstation service manually, it returns an error saying that it was unable to find a file.
How can I get this to work? It used to be fine and I can’t think what else to try.
Anyone have any ideas?
