installing Win 98SE

I am presently running on ‘Win Xp Professional’, now I want to remove ‘Win Xp Professional’ and install Win 98SE. I have got a bootable Cd but it does not boot when my system starts with the CD. I had also changed my BIOS setting to CD-ROM as my first priority for booting.

Can anyone help me out ?
