Installing Windows NT

When working on another server computer, Setup does not detect a new SCSI adapter. What troubleshooting steps should be taken for this situation?

Installing Windows NT

Hi,

You'll need to have the drivers on floppy before you do the installation. Really early on in the build process, you are given the option of providing extra drivers - I cant remember which key you hit, but it tells you at the bottom of the screen.

At this point, hit the key - it might be F7 and insert the floppy. The drivers will be loaded and the SCSI adapter will be available (and consequently the disks...)

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Tim.
