I recently purchased an HP Pavillion 2415us notebook that came pre-installed with Windows Vista. I am not a big fan of Windows Vista and would like to put Windows XP on this notebook. The problem is that for installing XP, HP has an additional SATA driver (it’s a softpaq that puts the files to a FLOPPY drive) so that Win XP can see the hard disk. Without the driver, XP installation does not see the hard disk. My problem is that I don’t have a Floppy drive and need to be able to put this softpaq to my USB flash drive. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
