comes out from that? I have had problems looking for drivers before. Also I have had a problem with a BIOS setting for the Hard Drive. I cant remember what it is but i have a feeling it was something like enchanced sata or something.

Have a look for that and turn it off. I would also recommend taking a full image of the hard disk so if something goes wrong you are able to recover it.

If your system is capable the Windows Vista Recovery CD can be used to Boot your PC so that you can use Bootsect.exe to restore the Ntldr program. Use the Vista Recovery CD to Boot to a Command Prompt where you can run these Commands to apply the master boot code that is compatible with NTLDR to the volume labeled C.

      1. Creating a Windows Vista Recovery CD

Burn it to CD with Nero or similar.

Boot from the Vista CD and on the first screen click Next, click Repair your computer, click Next and select Command Prompt.
type the following command: bootsect.exe /nt52 C: and press Enter.
