Having no Optical Drive, has anyone had any experience with this? If so, perhaps you could point me to a step-by-step site? Seems to be giving me some problems. Perhaps it is my impatience I don’t know. Here is what I have tried so far. Used the USB_MultiBoot program to create a Bootable USB Partition with the XP setup files on it. All goes well until some point within the second phase of installation when one of 2 things has occurred. A.) I have gotten the BSOD with the x0000007B Stop Code or upon what I “believe” to be completion of the installation, after reboot I get “Hal.dll missing” error. Any/all help is appreciated.
