Installing XPdrive in a different PC

I have a PC with XP pro already installed and I want to take out the drive and install it into a newer faster PC. Any tips or problems? I know with 98 it goes through and installs all the system resources but I never attempted it with XP. Also does ghost work with XP if its not possible to install the drive with XP?
