Installling MSDOS on a Windows 2000

I have a w2k system working and I need to install a partition with MSDOS 6.22 in order to run some DOS application, How can I do It wihtout reinstalling all the system.
Hope a help

Well usually you have to install the oldest OS first, which in this case is DOS and then Win2000...

Have you tried doing the partion through DISK MANAGEMENT. I don't know if it works but you can try. Format the new partition w/ FAT then try to re-start the computer. When the C prompt comes up, change it to the letter drive of the new partition and try installing DOS..

Also I think FDISK should work.

Run FDISK, select choice 1-Create DOS partition or Logical DOS drive, once you select i'll bring three choices, my guess would be either 2 or 3 options which 2 is Create extended DOS partition and 3 is Create Logical DOS drives in the extended partition. You can play around maybe set-up a extended partion and then create the logical drive on the extended partition.

Again, I don't know if it will work but is worth a try. Let me know if it does..
