hi im having trouble with my installation of suse linux 6.2….
I have a acer travelmate 212txv laptop , it has 10gb hdd,floppy drive,cyber blade3d video card,ali audio accelerator, matshita dvd drive,a modem(56k)….i now i wont have sound but everytime i install it evrything goes fine then when it reboots and asks for me to change/add password that goes fine then it hangs on the next step where it trys to initialise the pcmcia slots what do i do? the modules are not supplied on this cdrom sowhat do i do do i have to get a newer version of linux or what????????? i got this version with the “suse linux for dummies” book ……can some one please help me?
