Instgram app crashes everytime i open

Hey Techrepublic Community!

Why does the Instagram app consistently crash every time I attempt to open it. Everytime i open it the black screen appers and it does not load anymore. I reinstalled the app but the issue remains same idk why is it happening. Anybody can help?

If you did everything mentioned in https://help.instagram.com/370569449686414 (like turning off and on, and trying both WiFI and mobile data and reinststalling), and they can’t offer any sensible help, the next step is to check the available space on your phones storage. If that isn’t a bottleneck, go back to factory conditions to start all over.

Be sure you can reinstall and activate all your apps, and can recover your data from your backup. That’s comparable to what you do when you buy a new phone.
