When my machine starts to grind down to a halt, I open up Windows Task Manager (WinXP SP3) to fine that InstStub.exe has installed itself in memory multiple times (over 20 on some occasions) and I am unable to end any of those processes. My only resort is to reboot. Since this is a Norton file, what is this virus-like activity and how do I stop it? Norton Internet Security 2009 cannot find any viruses/malware on my machine. Or is Norton the virus?
