I have been in the financial services business for over 10 years now and have had some moderate success. I am ready to step out of the business and move into the IT field. I have a business degree with emphasis in marketing and wondering about my best steps to take. I am just now researching my possibilities, but I think I would like to get into project management. I am guessing I would have to start at the bottom, which is not a problem. I'm a hard worker with strong leadership skills and would hope to move up quickly. Any thoughts or direction on where to begin. Thank You

Do IT in financial services, Business Analyst with a view to stepping up to PM would be a good start. Domain knowledge is extraordinarily valuable, in the line you want to pursue.
