Hi there, i’m having issues with connecting my NAS to a desktop pc. At my home home office I have an desktop PC, which connects wirerlessly to my router. My WLAN gets an IP adress (192.168.2.4) from my router an is working fine. Now i want to connect a NAS (TS-453 pro) which has a different ip adress / range (169.254.11.248) (assigned by itself i guess) to that same desktop. How do i configure my ethernet connection so that i can connect to my NAS and share my wireless internet connection with that NAS. (I don’t how to connect to my NAS other then by ethernet)

Connect the external disk with an Ethernet cable to an Ethernet port of the router. Then it’s attached to the network in stead of to the PC it is now. That’s good, because NAS stands for “network attached storage”.
