I have installed the Intel freq id utility on my new laptop system. the expected speed is 1.7GHz but the actual speed shown varies from 800MHz-1.2GHz. i am working on WinXp. I have cleared all startup items and nothing/s running in background. onlu while the Utility is running it shows me the above results. Is my system or my processor bad
