Interesting Error

By Xanneros ·
I was wondering if anyone had ever seen this before:

"The procedure entry point release class device could not be located in the dynamic link library hccutils.DLL"

I did a Google search on it but all of the results were slightly different. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Is it just a random error or does it occur with a specific app?

Random

From what I understand it appears before the user logs on. It apparently multiplies five times and then either reboots the machine or goes away at which point the user can log on to the machine.

It looks like its intel chipset video driver issue. You may want to DL a new version of the DLL file. See link'

I will give this a shot. The only thing I am skeptical about is that the article references PC Anywhere, which we don't use. Not sure if that would make a difference.
