I have a strange problem. we are running a winNT 4 domain and just recently we encounter a problem when trying to logon onto the domain with either a Windows 2000 or NT 4 computer.
We are using full roaming profiles and when I try to logon to thedomain with a account I sometimes (and not all the time) get “can not copy the file: whatever”… “bad network connection” but it only happens on some computers and not all and not all the time either.
Our roaming profiles have been running fine for 2 years and no problems and this started happening about 3 days ago. Sometime they can get their roaming profiles and sometimes they can’t (users). I have checked all the hubs and connections and even if they can’t logon they still can connect towhere their roaming profile is stored and are able to browse the directory properly.
Any ideas at all? I am at a total loss!
