Intermittent drive mapping

by ddbaker . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

We have a Kayak XA workstation that loses its connection to a mapped drive. The error is “x: is not accessible, network path was not found”.
Sometimes the connection resolves itself after a few hours or we have to reboot the server were the mapped drive is physically located, then the connection restores. Rebooting the workstation itself does not correct the problem. There are two drive mappings, both to seperate servers and sometimes only one map fails. Both of the connections are mapped at different locations using the WAN.
