We have a domain with the name name as our external .com. I have added www to the forward lookup zones, but when I type the address it hits the external site, then the AD DNS server responds with 301 moved permanently and redirects it to the internal domain controller. We do not have iis 7 running on any of our DC’s, so I am not sure why this is happening.
Any insight would be helpful. The servers are 2008 R2 Datacenter.
