Internet access in separate room

by rsurmon . Updated 8 years, 9 months ago

We have a client that is in a Grade 2 listed building, which basically means its a pain to do anything to their physical infrastructure. They have a room that only has two desks in it, but where the big boss comes to work when he is in the country.
Their current setup for their internet connection is either WiFi, which comes from another room so the signal isn’t great, or one of those ethernet extenders through a plug socket, which doesn’t get a good speed either (It is a rather basic device, however).
It would be preferable to get a good line into that room, but it seems the only thing to do is purchase a better version of that ethernet extender device. Does anyone have any other ideas or recommendations for this?

Cheers
