I'm not sure that training is needed for Web Appliances (from my experience). I currently have Cobalt Cube 2 (www.cobalt.com). It's a Linux OS with an Apache web server. Set-up was REALLY easy. We put it on the dirty side of the network, turned on the power switch, gave it an IP address (and the address of the DNS server), and it literally set itself up. Through a browser, you pick and choose services. To transfer content, you use an FTP program. The instructions were very clear. As far as senior training, I haven't noticed anything locally. I would check senior centers, the salvation army, and the local chamber of commerce. Email me if you need more info on the appliance.
another route that you might try is your local cable company for the Set Top Boxes as far as the Web Applications, from what I read this is still like a new born baby, (learning), but is getting to be more of a user friendly service. go to your search and type in web applications and choose modeling web applications, it uses Microsoft Active Server Page Technology. This is a good page for the training manual also.
Although it's not specifically said in their website www.esmmi.com , the MMhelper technology supports browser base applications. It enables to direct-link external info to web app.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.

How about training senior end-users on the use of the internet?
