Internet connection sharing device?

I used to be able to connect two pc’s to the Internet when I had a static ip address using a Cable/DSL router. After AT&T Excite went bankrupt they only allow you to use DHCP to get Internet access. Is there anyway to have more than one computer on the Internet in this scenario? Do they make a router that can be assigned a public ip address from a DHCP server at the ISP?
