Internet Explore Error

I just got a new Dell. I bought a HP 3500c scanner and a HP 3650 printer. When I try to open the HP “Photo Director” I get an error message. It is an internet explorer script error in line 221. The app will not open. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but with no luck.
